Acne can be treated with medications, creams, and lotions as well as with herbal and home made remedies. There are many herbs, which help in reducing the acne lump and making the face clear.

There are many homemade remedies, which are easy to follow and provide a good solution to the existing acne problem.

Home acne remedy: Wash the face gently with a non-oily face wash at least twice a day. Wipe off the water from the face and apply tea-tree oil on the face. This will reduce the chances of you getting acne. Don't apply any other oily or chemical cosmetic on the face.

Herbal acne remedies: While making herbal acne remedies, herbs like lavender, chamomile, juniper, dandelion root, burdock and bergamot are used. These herbal acne remedies can improve the skin condition considerably. Other herbs like hazel, which is a very good astringent, pokeroot an anti-inflammatory herbal medicine etc, are also used for acne remedies.
